The Davidson (Nairn) Charitable Trust Scholarships

£1,000 scholarships to support current NC level 6, HNC, HND, year 1, year 2 and year 3 undergraduate students who wish to advance to the next year of study and are residents of Nairn or of surrounding Nairnshire.

The Scholarships provide a helping hand to talented students to progress their studies and reach their goals.

There are a limited number of £1,000 scholarships available (paid in two instalments each semester). 

Selection criteria

Scholarships will be awarded based on three areas:

  • Academic success and potential
  • Financial situation
  • Career potential

Eligibility

  • Students must be currently registered at UHI
  • Students must also reside in Nairn or surrounding Nairnshire.
  • Open to UK/EU and non-EU students
  • For full-time students and part-time students
  • Open to current NC Level 6, HNC, HND, Year One, Year Two and Year Three undergraduate degree students only
  • Must not be utilised to subsidise course fees
