If you are successful in your application, and have met all academic requirements, you will receive an unconditional offer which will give you full instructions on how to pay your fees.

Your deposit

Successful applicants will be required to pay a deposit before the university will issue you with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number, which you will need to apply for your visa.

This deposit is counted towards your tuition fees.

Paying tuition fees

International students studying at all campuses have the option to pay your full fees up-front at the start of each academic year if you prefer.

Depending on which campus you are studying at, you may have the option to pay your remaining fees in instalments of 50% at the start of each semester. The full instructions that you receive with your unconditional offer will explain if this is an option for you.

If you receive any funding assistance or loans, please contact the international office for more information on how to apply them to your tuition fees.

You will need to take into account the cost of applying for a visa (if applicable), travel to Scotland, accommodation and other costs of living while in Scotland.

The consumer organisation Which? has helpful online resources on student money and budgeting.

Where there are additional costs associated with a programme, these will be identified on the relevant course pages on the university website.
